**In your role, you will**:

- Manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
- Define supply management strategies and plans including, but not limited to: equipment, materials, subcontracting and logistics.
- Develop and execute a procurement plan to support plant business objectives.
- Develop and execute a plan to ensure the effectiveness of our ERP systems (SAP & BAAN).
- Achieve functional objectives related to the material logistics plan, such as shortage reduction, on-time delivery, inventory management and material cost management.
- Lead improvement initiatives in procurement, supplier management and internal material flow management at plant level.
- Maintain key performance indicators and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- You have a bachelor's degree in operations or logistics management or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. An MBA is an asset.
- You have over twelve (12) years of management experience, including five (5) years in a similar position, in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of the aerospace industry is an asset.
- You are a strong strategic thinker with the ability to have a comprehensive understanding of an issue.
- You have experience in negotiating/managing supplier relationships.
- You have strong knowledge and experience with MRP / ERP systems. In-depth knowledge of SAP is a major asset.
- You have the interpersonal skills needed to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with colleagues, employees, management and suppliers.
