Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a major construction project. You will ensure smooth project execution by managing work packages, facilitating communication, and supporting field crews and project management.

Responsibilities
  1. Review project contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
  2. Become proficient in Procore for tasks like managing drawings and requests for information (RFIs).
  3. Develop work packages for upcoming project phases, collaborating with the scheduler on prioritization.
  4. Liaise with field crews, the project manager, and other trades to guarantee work areas are prepared for upcoming tasks.
  5. Manage material logistics, ensuring timely delivery and available necessary materials at the designated locations.
  6. Secure the appropriate equipment in advance to support planned tasks.
  7. Monitor project progress, document deviations, and ensure work follows the plan.
  8. Contribute to progress reports by compiling completed tasks and planned activities.
  9. Maintain logs for material requisitions, purchase orders, and construction equipment.
  10. Support the project manager/superintendent with estimations for potential scope changes.
Qualifications

Experience: Experience in construction project management
Skills: Proven ability to manage communication across various stakeholders, experience with construction drawings, constructability, and issue prediction/prevention, a history of successfully resolving project challenges
Attributes: Strong character with a desire to learn, self-awareness, accountability, and integrity, high level of intelligence and coachability

Benefits

Salary: Competitive hourly salary ($42.00 – $43.50/hour) with overtime opportunities
Per Diem: Per diem for room and board ($140/day)
Potential: Potential for long-term employment after the initial 12-month project
