Information Security Analyst

Working in the financial trading industry is highly motivating for security technologists because the environment is constantly changing at a fast pace, allowing you to work with cutting-edge technology. The exciting aspect of this opportunity is that you do not need current or previous experience within the security team of a trading firm; you just need to be a passionate and strong technologist.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and triage security alerts from various channels.
  2. Escalate incidents, implement countermeasures, and coordinate with third-party providers.
  3. Analyze SIEM data, create policy rulesets, and identify security issues.
  4. Document all actions and interact professionally with customers.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  2. Experience in analyzing security events and performing incident triage.
  3. Proficient with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and data leakage prevention.
  4. Knowledge of network probing, DDoS, and malware activities.
  5. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  6. Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts.
