Information Security Analyst

Job Summary:

Resolute Forest Products Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our IT Security Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and protecting our organization's IT infrastructure from cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential security incidents and prioritize them according to the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan.
  • Apply containment and remediation mechanisms to prevent the spread of security incidents.
  • Escalate security incidents to the Threat Intelligence team when necessary.
  • Contribute to the deployment of security incident playbooks.
  • Ensure that security queues, tickets, and priorities are being worked effectively.

Requirements:

  • University degree in IT security or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT technologies, Incident & Change or ITIL Processes, and/or Vendor Relations.
  • IT security certification: CEH, CISSP, CompTIA, or others would be an asset.
