Master Data Specialist

Robert Half is looking for a Master Data Specialist to join a large client of our. This Master Data Specialist contract has an initial term of 6-months, with a possibility of extension. This position is offered on a hybrid basis and will require applicants to work on-site in Calgary, AB 3-days per week.What you'll do:Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' master data management processes specific to SAP S/4HANA and identify opportunities for enhancement.Implement master data governance frameworks tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each client.Develop data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to define data governance roles and responsibilities and establish clear accountability.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data governance initiatives and recommend adjustments as necessary.What you bring:Experience creating and developing master data management and governance for SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANAAbility to analyze SAP's configurations and clearly understand data hierarchy and structure.Ability to extract the necessary information from subject matter experts and key stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex data management challenges and develop effective solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients at all levels of the organization.Comfortable working in a progressive, fast-paced environment.
