Robert Half is looking for a Master Data Specialist to join a large client of our. This Master Data Specialist contract has an initial term of 6-months, with a possibility of extension. This position is offered on a hybrid basis and will require applicants to work on-site in Calgary, AB 3-days per week.


What you'll do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' master data management processes specific to SAP S/4HANA and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Implement master data governance frameworks tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each client.
  • Develop data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to define data governance roles and responsibilities and establish clear accountability.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data governance initiatives and recommend adjustments as necessary.


What you bring:

  • Experience creating and developing master data management and governance for SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA
  • Ability to analyze SAP's configurations and clearly understand data hierarchy and structure.
  • Ability to extract the necessary information from subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex data management challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working in a progressive, fast-paced environment.
