Position Summary:The Hotel Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for the supervision and control of the hotel outlets and required to follow all standards within agreed budgetary limits. Areas of responsibility will include strategic planning and sustainable growth of the department’s revenues.Responsibilities:Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new suppliesTrain employees to meet restaurant and catering standardsAdhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulationsOrganize, direct, and evaluate food and beverage service in outletsEstablish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goalsAddress customer complaints in a timely fashionProvide strategic planning for the growth of the departmentMonitor fiscal activity for both revenues and expenses and provide required reportingProvide marketing ideas for the outletsEnsure staffing levels are correct and labor costs are controlledNegotiate supplier arrangements for food and beverage productsEnsure the efficient running of the restaurants and banquet facilitiesEnsure that inventory is measured on a regular basisRequirements:Graduate of a recognized hospitality culinary school preferred or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, hotel management preferredAble to work weekends and eveningsGood understanding of MS Office and restaurant/hotel software programsAbility to speak both official languages is considered an assetTeamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are interested in the above position, please submit your resume to Human Resources via interoffice mailbox or email at Leah.murchison@aquilini.com
