In line with our vision, we are searching for an Executive Accountant to join our Athletes Recruitment division on a part-time, remote basis. The role is crafted for someone with a strong background and understanding of hockey or sports at large, combined with comprehensive experience in sales and recruitment, ideally extending over five years.

The successful candidate will exhibit a solid network within the hockey industry, leveraging these connections to enhance our recruitment efforts. Your impact on our organization will be multifaceted: from managing intricate financial processes and budgets to meticulous reporting and compliance adherence for recruitment activities. Your contributions will be pivotal in steering the financial negotiations and managing the contractual elements of athlete endorsements.

As a professional in this dynamic field, it's essential to have a schedule that adapts to the ebb and flow of the sports industry. We're looking for someone who can comfortably manage their time to be available during the day, as well as take on assignments during weeknights and weekends, ensuring we remain proactive and responsive to our clients' varying needs.

Business Objectives:

1. Solidify EVO Performance's reputation as a premier provider of cognitive performance training and biomechanical analysis in the sports industry.

2. Enhance recruitment strategies to attract top-tier professional athletes and promising talent.

3. Optimize financial strategies and establish enduring athletic endorsements to maintain competitive advantage.

4. Develop and implement technologically advanced solutions for athlete training and assessment.

5. Expand market reach through targeted, professional branding and relationship-building within the hockey industry.

Responsibilities

- Engage in professional consultations with prospective clients through Zoom to discuss their needs and offer tailored solutions.

- Leverage your professional network to identify and recruit potential athletes, establishing a rapport that champions their interests.

- Expertly navigate the sales process with a professional yet approachable demeanor, effectively sealing the deal with confidence and integrity.

- Cultivate and sustain strong, professional relationships with both parents and athletes, ensuring a foundation of trust and open communication.

-Establish new business and maintain accurate records.

-Researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans, including market research.

-Professionally represent our organization at hockey games and industry events, fostering relationships and expanding our professional network within the sports community.

-Engage with key stakeholders in a conversational manner, facilitating meaningful connections that contribute to our strategic recruitment goals.

Qualifications

-GED in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management or related experience

-2+ years of professional experience in sales and recruitment

-A well-rounded background in hockey or related sports, complemented by deep industry knowledge

-Boasting a strong, professional network within the hockey community

-Demonstrating excellent communication capabilities that foster meaningful professional interactions and collaborations.

-Possessing adept negotiation skills that enable successful, mutually beneficial outcomes in a business setting.

-Eager to embrace the challenges of a professional setting, you'll bring a level of self-sufficiency that thrives in an independent work environment, allowing you to shine as a motivated self-starter in our team.
