Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will handle a variety of HR tasks including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and safety. This role requires excellent communication skills and a good understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Develop effective hiring strategies.
    • Manage job postings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews.
    • Conduct new employee orientations.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Address employee questions about HR policies.
    • Foster a positive workplace culture.
  3. Benefits Administration:
    • Manage health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
    • Assist employees with benefits questions.
    • Oversee annual benefits enrollment.
  4. HR Compliance:
    • Ensure the company follows employment laws.
    • Maintain accurate employee records.
    • Prepare necessary reports and documents.
  5. HR Policies and Procedures:
    • Help update and communicate HR policies.
    • Ensure employees understand and follow policies.
  6. Safety:
    • Assign and schedule training courses for employees.
    • Participate in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) committee and run quarterly OHS meetings.
    • Send OHS documents to contractors and collect them from subcontractors.
  7. Administrative:
    • Assist with various administrative tasks to support the overall operation of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Adobe, etc.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
