Underground Development Charge-Up Operator Location: Northern Ontario, Canada Roster: 14 days on / 14 days off (days and nights) FIFO About the Role We're looking for an experienced UG Development Charge-Up Operator to join an underground mining team in Northern Ontario. In this position, you'll play a key role in safe and effective blasting activities that support development operations, while working alongside a skilled crew. What You'll Do Carry out development blasting (sub-drift, breast, slash, and drift rounds). Handle and use ANFO and initiating systems suited to ground conditions. Operate, inspect, and maintain charging vehicles and related equipment. Provide direction at development headings and support less experienced team members. Work closely with supervisors and operators to keep tasks moving efficiently. Promote a safe workplace by following procedures and keeping work areas clear. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years' experience in underground mining. 3+ years in a charge-up role. Hard Rock Mining Common Core (or equivalent) preferred - training can be arranged if needed. Working at Heights Certificate. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
