Oilfield Survey Crew Chief – Fort McMurray
who, ideally, has experience in the Oilfield Survey sector and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects throughout Western Canada
- Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days
- Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Follow safety protocol
- Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
- Prepare clear, concise and accurate field notes, records and calculations
What you bring to the table:
- Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE
- Desire for excellence in all that you do.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients
- Creativity
- A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
- Experience leading an oilfield survey crew
- Experience performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System
- Experience working on both industrial construction sites and remote bush conditions
- Experience with drones is an asset
