Security Solutions Architect

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, along with CISSP, CISA, or CISM certifications. You should have at least five years of experience in Cyber Security, with expertise in Cyber Security Architecture and familiarity with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities
•Develop and update security policies, standards, requirements, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.
•Assist in conducting cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps.
•Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns).
•Collaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood.
•Participate in various informational sessions as needed.
•Other activities and deliverables, as required.
Qualifications
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
•University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
•Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
•A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
•Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture.
•Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex security and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
•Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment.
•Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure).
•Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC).
