Are you a skilled Security Solutions Architect ready to make a significant impact? Our client seeks a professional to join their team under the direction of the Assistant Director of Cyber Architecture.

In this role, you will develop and update security policies, conduct cyber risk assessments, and create repeatable security solutions.

You will collaborate with security and technical teams to address security requirements and potential risks, participate in informational sessions, and handle various deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, along with CISSP, CISA, or CISM certifications.

You should have at least five years of experience in Cyber Security, with expertise in Cyber Security Architecture and familiarity with frameworks like NIST and ISO Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with enterprise technical solutions, Cloud Architecture (Azure), and application security (SDLC) is also highly valued. This is a 12 month contract position ***

Candidates must be eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance (5+ years in Canada)

** Develop and update security policies, standards, requirements, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.


  • Assist in conducting cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps.
  • Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., Collaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood.
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
  • Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture.
  • Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex security and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC).
