Electrical Support Engineer – EV Charging Stations

Calling all high calibre Electrical Technical/Field Service Engineers We have a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing & reputable multinational corporation specializing in robotics, power, automation, and electrification technologies.

In this role you will drive implementation and support the installing of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) and work with Operations and Channel Managers to optimize the costs and profitability of the new EV department. This role is mostly remote working from home with occasional travel to the office/sites.

This opportunity comes with an excellent flexible salary, mostly remote hybrid model, €10-12k annual bonus, company e-vehicle/car allowance (€12k yearly), on-site parking, flexibility, stock options acquisition plan, progression, and more

The Role

Technical Support: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to AC and DC Charging Infrastructure. Provide timely support to customers via phone, email, and remote access tools.

Performance Targets: Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met within the service function, including uptime, service response times, and case closure targets. Monitor performance against Service Level Agreements.

Service Technical Delivery: Act as a key point of contact between the global team and local business for service activity. Schedule commissioning, maintenance, and diagnostic/repair/campaign work to ensure service productivity and implement agreed delivery and performance standards.

Documentation and Warranty: Document support interactions, manage caseload to ensure correct operation of warranty processes.

Customer Approach: Execute service and delivery sales channel strategy within the local unit, increase market penetration, and build sustainable customer relationships. Support Channel Manager in customer meetings and drive consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback.

The Candidate

Qualifications in an electrical discipline.

Technical understanding of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure including AC and DC charging protocols, charging connectors, and communication protocols (e.g., OCPP).

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.

Strong interest in developing technology, sustainability and Electric Vehicles.
