The Branch Manager is responsible for managing sales activity and business development relating to the assigned region. Monitoring sales forecasts and targets and ensuring that the sales plans and market initiatives are implemented. Managing and encouraging optimal performance of all direct reports, including training. Developing quality team members as well as a solid customer base.


  • Growing sales through developing, coaching and motivating sales and support teams.
  • Calling and/ or visiting key accounts and continuously developing customer relationships.
  • Strategic and future management planning. Determining sales projections for fiscal year and tracking progress.
  • Develop budgets and account portfolios.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reports.
  • Conducting sales analysis and reviewing progress (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Gather market intelligence to provide feedback on market trends, pricing and competitor activities.
  • Conducting weekly sales meetings.
  • Outside sales – developing key relationships with customers including frequent on site visits.
  • Managing the Inside Sales staff.
  • Participating in customer calls for sales and technical support.
  • Ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Solving customer / staff / company disputes.
  • Providing guidance, direction, and monitoring of internal staff, ensuring departments are working effectively towards common goals.
  • Ensuring all staff are properly trained for their roles and the training is updated as required.
  • Operations, administration, and assisting with warehouse planning.
  • Inventory management, pricing maintenance, and vendor relations and planning.
  • Resolving day-to-day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
  • Representing the Company to the local and industry community.
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Other duties as required.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of previous management experience will be ranked as preferred candidates
  • Experience in construction, electrical or distribution an asset.
  • College/University Diploma required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
