About this roleThe client digital team is looking for an SDET – Mobility (IOS) Engineer. The team is responsible for application architecture, development, and innovation of new feature development to support consumer solutions. In this role, you will ensure to provide the highest quality deliverables for each release. Support high-quality automation test engineering, test plans, and principles, while adhering to QA best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions.
- Develop high-quality test engineering best practices for the team.
- Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver high-performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and powerful in their simplicity.
- Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
- Responsible for helping to identify gaps and needs of the agile team.
- Coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, creation of test data, and utilization of test environments.
- Develop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Consistently demonstrate regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in QA and/or Development.
- 2+ years of experience in quality tools.
- 2+ years of experience working on IOS Testing frameworks such as XC and XCUI.
- 2+ years working on any high-level programming language such as Python (Preferred) or Java.
- Familiar with the basics of Messaging architectures – Preferably Kafka.
- Experience working on testing IOS applications using tools such as Appium and XCode.
- Understands various CI/CD practices.
- Experience assessing risk for determining appropriate levels of testing.
- Demonstrated skills using code repositories like GitHub/Gitlab.
- Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
- Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with IT issues, and coming up with effective solutions to ensure project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments.
- Ability to clearly write technical specifications and strong estimating and planning skills.
- Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.
- Excellent presentation skills to present ideas and work to the team and organization.
- Experience presenting testing topics to quality assurance peer group internal and external to work.
- Insightful and logical problem isolation and solving skills.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented.

- Any experience on IOS Development and/or deployment of the IOS apps would be greatly recognized.
