Here's what we're looking for


As the IT Procurement Manager, you will oversee all phases of procurement for the IT department. Your primary role will involve managing relationships with vendors to secure the best prices while staying abreast of emerging trends and opportunities in the technology sector.


This position ensures that the IT department acquires the necessary equipment at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor management and clear reporting lines for the team.


Your daily responsibilities


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the IT department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
  • Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality;
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with vendors to negotiate the best pricing and terms;
  • Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or opportunities for improvement;
  • Oversee the negotiation, preparation, and management of contracts with IT suppliers;
  • Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics for credit reporting, IT infrastructure, and cloud services;
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards;
  • Manage the acquisition, deployment, and tracking of IT assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and lifecycle management;
  • Work with the finance department to develop and manage the IT procurement budget;
  • Monitor and report on procurement spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities;
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support;
  • Ensure that lower-level employees know who to report to for supply needs;
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in IT procurement;
  • Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.


Your skills and experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT Management, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in IT procurement;
  • Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy development;
  • Strong track record in managing procurement budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities;
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software, and cloud-based solutions;
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management software;
  • Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Procurement Professional), CPPM (Certified Procurement and Purchasing Manager), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management);
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to IT procurement;
  • Experience in implementing procurement policies and procedures.

En tant que Gestionnaire des Approvisionnements IT, vous superviserez toutes les phases des achats pour le département informatique. Votre rôle principal consistera à gérer les relations avec les fournisseurs pour obtenir les meilleurs prix tout en restant à l'affût des tendances émergentes et des opportunités dans le secteur technologique.


La personne idéale pour ce poste est un(e) expert(e) en organisation et en négociation, qui connaît parfaitement les tarifs du marché et guide le département informatique dans l'acquisition de l'équipement nécessaire. Elle veille à obtenir des tarifs compétitifs tout en maintenant une gestion efficace des fournisseurs.


Ton quotidien


  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies d'approvisionnement pour le département informatique, en assurant leur alignement avec les objectifs organisationnels;
  • Identifier les opportunités d'optimisation des processus d'approvisionnement et de réduction des coûts tout en maintenant la qualité;
  • Maintenir et développer les relations avec les fournisseurs pour négocier les meilleurs prix et conditions;
  • Évaluer la performance des fournisseurs et résoudre les problèmes ou opportunités d'amélioration;
  • Superviser la négociation, la préparation et la gestion des contrats avec les fournisseurs informatiques;
  • Gérer les contrats fournisseurs, les accords de niveau de service (SLA) et les indicateurs de performance pour les rapports de crédit, l'infrastructure informatique et les services cloud;
  • Assurer la conformité aux politiques organisationnelles et aux normes de l'industrie;
  • Gérer l'acquisition, le déploiement et le suivi des actifs informatiques, en assurant une tenue de registres précise et une gestion du cycle de vie;
  • Travailler avec le département des finances pour élaborer et gérer le budget d'approvisionnement informatique;
  • Surveiller les dépenses d'approvisionnement, en identifiant les opportunités d'économies;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes informatiques pour comprendre leurs besoins en matière d'approvisionnement et fournir un soutien;
  • Rester informé des tendances émergentes et des technologies dans le domaine de l'approvisionnement informatique;
  • Identifier les risques potentiels liés aux approvisionnements et élaborer des stratégies d'atténuation;
  • Assurer la conformité aux politiques internes, réglementations et normes de l'industrie.


Le bagage requis


  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en technologies ou dans tout domaine connexe;
  • Vous possédez un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en approvisionnement informatique;
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion des fournisseurs, en négociation de contrats et en développement de stratégies d'approvisionnement;
  • Solide expérience dans la gestion des budgets d'approvisionnement et l'identification des opportunités d'économies;
  • Familiarité avec l'infrastructure informatique, les logiciels et les solutions basées sur le cloud;
  • Maîtrise des logiciels d'approvisionnement et de gestion des contrats;
  • Certifications pertinentes telles que CPP (Certified Procurement Professional), CPPM (Certified Procurement and Purchasing Manager), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) ou CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management);
