.Net Developer - Contract opportunity


Working for First Derivative, you will also be part of FD Technologies plc which is a global leader in consulting, business services, and technology. We currently have excellent opportunities for a motivated .Net Developer to join First Derivative based in Toronto. These opportunities are offered on a contract basis, initially for 3-4 months with likelihood of extension to 2026.


First Derivative provides a range of managed services and consulting worldwide to its clients in the Capital Markets sector, including many of the worlds leading banks, focused on supporting mission-critical systems as well as helping them to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance. This project is an implementation project of a new application, typical duties will range but will typically include creating in-house applications using the .NET framework, debugging and maintaining written code. Reporting and resolving issues related to projects. Working in a project team alongside other developers.


Experience:

  • .NET 6.x
  • XML
  • REST APIs
  • AWS Core Concepts (Developer Level)
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Messaging Exposure
  • .NET 6 Core
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
