Role

Our current enterprise SaaS application has evolved over aperiod of about ten years.We constantlyneed to maintain and enhance this application to satisfy business needs and inparallel we are investing in new technologies that will transform our business.

To support this work, we are seeking a senior level softwareengineer who has experience in Blazor and Azure cloud technologies to build ournext generation of applications and experience in .Net and C# using MVC, andAngular to support our current applications. We are looking for someone who hasexperience working in a globally diverse team comprised of in-house, nearshore, and off shore members. We utilize many of the Microsoft stack oftechnologies such as .Net, Azure SQL, NoSql, Visual Studio, Typescript and moreas well as Jira and other products in our process.

In this role, you will interact closely with the productteam for development of new features as well as the Helpdesk team who log andpass on technical issues raised internally or by our customers. You will bepart of an internal team utilizing scrum agile principals. You will work withthe product team to understand the new feature requests and bugs.

The role, as is the entire company, is entirely remotelyworking. We have positions that are open in both US and UK working hours. Allpositions require some flexibility in working hours on occasion.

Given the remote working model, we need someone who ishighly motivated, a self-starter, well organized and comfortable interactingwith a diverse range of colleagues, all of whom will be working remotely andacross multiple time zones.

We are looking for someone excited about delivering qualitysoftware, someone who understands that working in a small company means thatyou may need to work with different skills from day to day and help where youare needed most. Someone not afraid to jump in and learn new skills when theneed arises.

Responsibilities

· Develop code / fix defects as needed for variousapplications.

· Write unit tests for code.

· Attend and contribute to agile ceremonymeetings.

· Work with the Product Managers and ProductOwners to determine requirements.

· Work with Architects to understand impacts ofchanges to various systems.

· Document changes to systems, aid in developingtraining / user documentation around developed / changed features.

· Work with the QA team to understand defects andto improve the development processes.

· Track work activities in Jira or other tools.

· Work with other developers on in-house, nearshore, and off shore teams to ensure redundant knowledge of systems andprocesses.

· Be flexible in meeting with teammates acrosstime zones around the world.

· Work independently in a remote capacity meetingsprint and other goals in timely manner.

· Work in a knowledge sharing environment, aidingand getting aid from other teammates, helping each other and the company growin capabilities.

· Work in a CI / CD system with quick releasecycles.

· Perform code reviews for other developer’s pullrequests

· Works across the company to maintain SOC IIcompliance and to work with process improvements.

Skills
Core skills

· Expert knowledge of Software Engineeringprincipals including design patterns and anti-patterns, SOLID, etc.

· Expert knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL, NoSql, Css,Html, Typescript.

· Expert knowledge of building and consuming APIs(webservices, REST, SOAP)

· Strong understanding of MVC, Angular, Bootstrap,Blazor, Webassembly, Azure services

· Strong familiarity with Azure Devops (preferred)or Jira (Acceptable)

· Proponent of Agile, Test Driven Design, AIassisted development and software craftsmanship.

· Experience developing while supporting with automatedtesting frameworks. (smartbear, selenium, b-unit, playwright, Jira test Plans)and how to build systems that take advantage of their capabilities.

· 8+ years experience in .Net C# development.

· 3+ years experience developing in Azure or 5+ inanother cloud provider.

· 1+ years using serverless components.

· 1+ years experience developing for WebAccessibility requirements such as ADA, Section 508, etc.

· 1+ years experience implementing and supportingsearch engines, preferably SOLR.

· One or more Microsoft Developmentcertifications.

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or otherEngineering discipline.

· Experience in an Agile development team.

· Experience working in CI/CD pipelines andautomation.

· Used to working in an SOC II certifiedengineering team.

· Excellent communication skills – ability to discusstechnical topics with technical or non-technical audiences.

· Comfortable working individually to achievegroup goals as the role is 100% remote.
