About the Company:

Hays Human Resources is partnered with our client, a global leader in Business Management, as they grow their Human Resources team, hiring an experienced Human Resources Associate in downtown Toronto. The organization is a global leader in asset management with over 50 years of experience.

Your New Role:

As the Human Resources Associate, reporting to the VP HR, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Inputting payroll transactions into Workday
  2. Facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding
  3. Administering changes to employee records
  4. Producing reports and presenting findings to Management
  5. Providing guidance and support on HR administrative queries
  6. Functioning as a liaison between various departments
  7. Coordinating staff changes and gathering information for Contingent Workers
  8. Coordinating maternity leave benefits and disability claims
  9. Processing invoices for the HR team
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Post-secondary education related to HR (CHRP preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Workday or similar
  • Client-service orientation and ability to support employees at all levels
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively
  • Strong executive presence and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
