About the Job:We are looking for a driven ASP.NET Core Software Developer to join our team. If you believe you can work and communicate well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial software company, we want to talk to you.
Role:You will be accountable for high quality and timely development of software revisions against current Clickback’s SaaS offering, focusing on supporting our products. There will be growth into developing against new products, features, and our internal tool sets. You will be a key part of Clickback’s development team, working with C# code against MS SQL servers. You will contribute to the current development framework and processes (ASP.NET Web Forms), currently being converted over to ASP.NET Core and/or MVC. While also being a technical reference to our software support team to help resolve customer service issues, allowing Clickback to continue to provide world class customer support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Turn high level business specifications into application storyboards, use cases and technical specifications- owning the full development process from product owner to QA release
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
- Plan, develop and dev QA on Clickback internal tools/systems
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Focus efforts on resolving client support issues and work through Data Services validations
- Part of the development and peer QA team for all development before going live
- Interact and communicate with various stakeholders such as other developers, managers and product owners throughout the process
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer
- Experience with C# in a web application or a SaaS company
- 5+ years of experience with C# development against MS SQL databases
- Understanding of SCRUM and Agile development frameworks
- Experience working with multilayered software architecture
- Must be organized to prioritize multiple tasks, learn quickly and communicate well with others
- Strong communication skills an absolute MUST
- Strong project management skills
- Commitment to writing high quality code
- Detail-oriented and passionate about your contributions
- Associates degree and/or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Languages: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap
- Platforms: Windows Server Environment, MS IIS, MS SQL Server
- Experience working with MS Visual Studio
- Experience working with version control systems (TFS or Git)
- Knowledge of the newest Microsoft Development framework ASP.NET Core MVC
- Experience working with Telerik web UI
- Knowledge of a front-end framework such as, Blazor, React or Angular
- Microsoft product/server certifications
- Experience with email marketing software or SaaS offerings
- Project/team experience would be an asset
