Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Specialist to manage inventory control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).

  • Location: Based in Calgary, Alberta.
  • Work Hours: Monday to Thursday (7 am to 4 pm), Friday (7 am to 1 pm).
  • Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Returns and Allocations: Manage the return process for unneeded inventory and reallocate resources efficiently.
  • ERP Utilization: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) to track inventory, generate reports, and optimize stock levels.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders via email correspondence.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Address inventory-related challenges promptly and proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
  • ERP Experience: Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.
  • Certifications: Any certifications related to supply chain or inventory management are considered an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and other relevant software.
