One of our automotive clients in London, ON is looking for a Tool & Die Maker for their facility.

Shift - Night

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the operation, setup, repair, maintenance, and construction of various die tooling and associated equipment across the entire plant.
  • Inform, document, and report as necessary or appropriate.
  • In charge of setting up and implementing tooling changes.
  • Tasked with the setup and maintenance of chuck and NC-tooling.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safe operation, organization, and maintenance of all Tool Room equipment.
  • Tasked with troubleshooting and performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Accountable for maintaining tool tracking data, encompassing dies, CNC lathes, and WF, among other items.

Qualifications

  • Possession of an Apprenticeship or Certificate of Qualification for Tool & Die Making.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker.
  • Requires expertise in stamping presses, related machinery, basic pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Requires proficiency in MIG/TIG and/or Arc welding, as well as the use of cutting torches.
