The role supports commercial bankers and leverages expertise in auto dealer lending, capital and credit risk management, and relationship development.Job OverviewTDAF is a dynamic division focused on automotive dealership financing across Canada. The Commercial team lends to auto dealers nationwide, providing floor plan, lease line, equipment and real estate financing. TD Auto Finance aims to become Canada’s #1 auto lender through service excellence, innovative solutions and a collaborative culture.ResponsibilitiesPrepare competitive credit packages for new business and support Relationship Managers in booking new auto dealer financing.Deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve client experiences.Analyze and monitor assigned portfolio covering customers across Quebec.Assess credit risk in compliance with internal controls and risk policies to increase profitability and enable growth.Recommend credit applications to AVP Credit and/or Senior Manager, Credit Management.Liaise with deal team members to ensure timely transaction execution.Maintain ongoing monitoring and control processes for the portfolio in adherence to bank policies.Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation and collaboration.Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge for own area of expertise and participate in knowledge transfer/mentorship within the team.Keep current on emerging trends and developments and understand the business, related tools and techniques.Contribute to and lead various ad‑hoc initiatives as assigned from time‑to‑time.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or quantitative discipline.Prior experience in credit analysis in commercial banking strongly preferred.Sound credit, analytical and problem‑solving skills.Financial modeling experience an asset.Strong team player able to work both independently and within a team.Ability to engage in active dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.Strong communications and organizational skills with ability to multi‑task and adapt to change in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.A high‑energy leader detail oriented, exercise initiatives with minimal direction.CompensationBase salary range: CAD 76,800 – 115,200.
