Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Network Analyst to enhance their Enterprise Network team to collaborate with the existing team to manage operational administration and facilitate the implementation of various LAN/WAN infrastructure components for both corporate and SCADA networks. Must adhere to team standards that reflect the latest industry and security best practices for configuring and implementing network infrastructure. This dedicated team ensures uninterrupted functionality, robust security, and forward-thinking development of the network systems, which are crucial to both corporate efficacy and SCADA operations.

The role is not only focused on day-to-day operational network administration but also significantly contributes to the ongoing enhancement, architectural design, planning, and implementation initiatives within the client’s network infrastructure.

Work is 100% onsite in Regina, SK with weekly rotational on-call requirement. Resource must also be able to travel outside Regina, SK, including occasional overnight stays as required. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

  • Must have at minimum five (5) years of recent, practical network administration experience and design/architecture experience.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work and be located full-time on site at in Regina, SK; Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Must be able to travel outside Regina, SK, including occasional overnight stays as required.
  • Must be able to work on-call on a rotational basis in 1-week intervals.

  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting Layer 3 Spine and Leaf data center networks utilizing VXLAN with BGP EVPN.
  • Profound mastery of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience with Cisco's suite of networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN Controllers, and WAPs.
  • Expertise in managing next-generation firewalls, with comprehensive knowledge of Fortinet's entire suite of security solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure in the context of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Skilled in the configuration and management of load balancers.
  • A deep understanding and implementation of network security best practices.
  • A proven track record in deploying network technologies within organizational technology projects.
  • Excellent collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • A thorough understanding of enterprise-level networks and the integration of on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Additional experience with LTE and satellite communication technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes.
  • Relevant job experience in North America.
