North Vancouver, Canada RAM Engineering Ltd. Full time

RAM is a technical consultancy providing Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the division’s key performance indicators;
  • Support Lead / Senior Geotechnical Engineers to interface with clients and sub-consultants on projects;
  • Support in the creation of detailed Geotechnical design reports and packages;
  • Support in the preparation of estimates for design and construction packages;
  • Respond to questions from construction crews, customers, utilities, and relevant third parties;
  • Support in the management of scope, schedule, and budget on Geotechnical projects;
  • Coordinate and support in the record of periodic status meetings;
  • Participate and contribute to RFP processes including developing execution methodology and estimating hours and costs for various opportunities;
  • Actively contribute to growing RAM’s revenue and obtain client satisfaction by performance excellence; and
  • Collaborate with other divisions to actively promote RAM and its other services.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on transportation projects, or infrastructure projects including industrial, utilities and/or municipal;
  • University Degree in Geotechnical / Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering;
  • Registered as a P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC);
  • Experience in business development activities including proposal preparation and submission;
  • Strong project coordination skills; and
  • Strong technical and written communication skills.
