Sr. Specialist, Store Solutions - Brampton, ON

As a Loblaw Technology Senior Specialist within the store solution team, you will have the opportunity to support application and product teams by driving technology modernization initiatives by conducting technical requirements analysis, supporting developers through the development lifecycle and support the rollout of strategic technology initiatives. What You’ll Do:

Design new features, automate deployments, aid in architectural design. You will collaborate with diverse agile teams (i.e. Infrastructure, SRE, Information Security, System/Application Development Teams and external partners/vendors) to assist with the implementation of complex innovative features

Support the development life cycle by leading technical requirements gathering solution for both cloud and legacy applications.

Identifying enhancement opportunities related to deficiencies related to systems, coding and infrastructure, and recommending creative solutions for mitigation.

Measure success with KPI’s that include operational efficiencies, feature adoption, and stability

Champion a culture of technical excellence with stakeholders by promoting best practices and driving high-quality outcomes.

What you Bring:
  • Proven experience in computer science or computer engineering
  • Experience with cloud migrations and architecture
  • Cloud certification on GCP and or Azure is a plus
  • Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies. Scrum master experience is preferable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with excellent project management and organization abilities. Effective communication and organization skills are vital to succeed in this role, as is proficiency in process mapping.
  • Ability to work independently and sift through ambiguity
