SummaryAs a Product Owner, you will support one or more teams within our Agile Release Train, delivering multiple initiatives in parallel for our Retail and Omni-Channel product roadmap. You will work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers in our organization, as well as IT team members and our Channel and Marketing partners, on all phases of project and feature delivery: define, develop, test, launch, and support. You will take a design-thinking approach to identify, develop, and deliver value for our users.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead end-to-end large, transformational, and complex strategic projects.
- Develop and maintain commerce system roadmap, acting as product owner for channel tools and platforms.
- As Product Owner (PO), analyze upcoming features and break them into user stories.
- As PO, plan, review, and execute tests for business to accept stories and features as done.
- Create and update documentation such as use cases, process maps, and release notes.
- Work with UX/UI Designer(s) to facilitate the creation of wireframes, mock-ups, editorial, training materials.
- Assess and recommend scalable business and technical solutions that meet client and business requirements.
- Work with Product Owners/Product Managers to manage external dependencies on Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, Product, etc.
- Support in executing a smooth operational rollout and take-to-market plan, to ensure last-mile success.
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or equivalent education and experience.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Project Lead, or Product Owner within IT-centric projects, preferably Agile or Scaled Agile.
- Ability to translate business needs into well-structured requirements.
- Disciplined, detail-oriented, and highly organized with daily time-sensitive tasks such as updating tickets and executing tests.
- Flexible to work occasional (monthly or fewer) weekends and evenings in order to meet deadlines and release dates.
- Very comfortable with ambiguity and constant change.
- Able to lead meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Agile certifications, in particular Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) – Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is an asset.
- Understanding of service design principles & customer centric approaches.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience with Confluence.
