We are currently looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to support both the day-to-day and long-term strategic marketing and communications initiatives for Radiant Canada and the Radiant Network overall. HYBRID WORK MODEL: Work in the office at 1280 Courtneypark Drive E, Mississauga every Monday and Wednesday.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide general communication, creative, and marketing support for various stakeholders, including but not limited to employees, customers and prospects. This includes supporting communications both online and in person whilst protecting branding guidelines.
  • Expand the company’s social media platforms in voice, audience growth and engagement.
  • Use key data and analytics to determine online presence, and strategies to improve upon that e.g., SEO, performance data, web analytics, rankings, etc.
  • Research and assist in creating content for internal and external communications, particularly for online consumption.
  • Assist in building the content marketing plan and editorial calendar to reach the target audience.
  • Assist in the development of custom presentations, reports, proposals, and collateral marketing material.
  • Conduct surveys and other market, field, and industry research to ensure superior marketing performance and long-term growth.
  • Assist in the continuation of building, organizing, and maintaining an asset and marketing literature library.
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories to support marketing and communications performance.
  • Assist with events both external and internal.
  • Other duties and assignments as required.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • College Diploma / University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years work experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • B2B experience is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge and experience with social media across a variety of platforms in content creation, campaign management and particularly in analytics.
  • Foundational knowledge of content marketing best practices to drive inbound sales efforts and establish industry thought leadership.
  • Well-versed in digital content development and knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Experience with marketing tools including Adobe CC Suite and online tools (HubSpot, Canva, CRM tools, Survey Monkey, etc.) Illustrator is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Basic HTML experience is an asset.
  • Video and editing experience are assets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to translate technical concepts and integrate customer and expert insight.
  • Work well under pressure in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment related to cross-platform projects.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent worker who is able to work in a both collaborative and remote team environment.
  • Good project management and workflow prioritization skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye to produce compelling assets and graphics.
