Job Summary:
The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee on-site activities with a proactive approach, demonstrating strong planning, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities include coordinating all on-site aspects of projects, with a focus on ensuring health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules within the ICI sector.
- Oversee, schedule, and coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, clients, and regulatory bodies to fulfill project objectives.
- Manage procurement of materials and supplies.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain project progress, documenting any additional costs for review.
- Adhere to fiscal policies established by management.
- Conduct site meetings as necessary.
- Provide regular safety reports and lead safety discussions.
- Ensure compliance with IHSA Regulations and relevant health and safety protocols.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- Eligibility for health, dental, and retirement benefits.
- Compliance with IHSA standards and ability to pass a police background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Seal trade journeyman certification.
- Experience with Certificate of Recognition (COR) program.
- Proficiency in Gantt charts and essential software such as Excel, Word, and Project.
- Possession of Gold Seal certificate.
Compensation Package:
- Competitive salary based on experience.
