Your Contribution

As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Professional, you will work in collaboration with the environment team and your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Reporting to the Team Leader, your main task will be to coordinate and complete assigned activities with respect to the implementation and management of environmental projects including but not limited to:
  2. Perform Phased Environmental Site Assessments, including historical research, site inspections and soil and groundwater sampling programs;
  3. Carry out surveys for Designated Substances and other Hazardous Materials;
  4. Supervise and verify site remediation and tank removal activities;
  5. Air quality monitoring;
  6. Preparation of field notes, data analysis and evaluation;
  7. Participate in technical report and proposal writing; and,
  8. Develop and maintain client relationships.
  9. Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
Your Profile
  1. University Degree or College Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences or an environmental related field;
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience;
  3. Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory;
  4. Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations;
  5. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
  6. Experience in supervising contractors on the work site;
  7. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and able to complete work within established timeframes;
  8. Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
  9. Valid driver's license; and,
  10. Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
