Job Description:

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

1. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
2. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
3. Perform routine clerical duties
4. Prepare and submit reports
5. Maintain work records and logs
6. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
7. Create, investigate, track and complete work orders
8. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
9. Follow-up on issues with work orders
10. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
11. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
12. Complete and process international purchase orders
13. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
14. Computer and technology knowledge:
    • Word processing software

    • MS Excel
