In your role, you will:
  1. Provide support to operations for aircraft assembly creating NCR dispositions and leading the technical support to Methods and Quality.
  2. Be the engineering representative to support operations as the first support line.
  3. Communicate solutions and agreements to customer technical representatives and program management.
  4. Resolve fit, form or functional issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during manufacturing of the Bombardier Aerospace products.
  5. Work closely with all specialists within all Engineering departments, such as Systems, Design, Stress, Materials & Process, Aerodynamics, Mass & Loads, Thermodynamics, Acoustics, DT Lab, Electromagnetics, etc.
  6. Interpret engineering drawings, specs & provide guidance to junior employees.
  7. Provide coaching to non MRBs team members and other not specialized MRBs.
  8. Lead initiatives for process development.
  9. Support requirements from internal and external clients.
As our ideal candidate:
  1. You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field.
  2. You have a minimum of (1) year MRB experience or (3) years of experience in the Aerospace manufacturing industry.
  3. You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and systems installation and functioning.
  4. You have Electrical & Systems experience (considered an asset).
  5. You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure team environment.
  6. You have previous experience as a Mentor and Coach in both the Liaison Team environment and in working with problem-solving teams.
  7. You know how to browse Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.
  8. You are flexible and comfortable working autonomously, under pressure.
  9. You are recognized for your technical judgment and practical approach.
  10. You are familiar with airworthiness regulations.
