Our public sector client is seeking an Intermediate OpenText Content Server Systems Administrator to support new and existing OpenText operations and initiatives. Initially a 12-months contract with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods. 36.25 hrs/week. 2 days/week on-site in Burnaby preferred.

Must Have:
  1. 3-5 years of experience working with the OpenText Content Server (previously Livelink) in an on-premise environment.
  2. Experience working with OpenText Directory Services (OTDS).
  3. Experience in maintaining and upgrading OpenText Content Server software, including planning, execution, and testing.
Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with custom development utilizing OpenText Content Server APIs is an asset.

The OpenText Content Server System Administrator will work in collaboration with the internal OpenText IT support team and a Records Management Team to:

  1. Provide on-premise OpenText Content Server and associated modules support: Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
  2. Monitor system to ensure OpenText Content Server solution is operating as expected. Makes adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Gather requirements and work with an OpenText partner to conduct a system health check to develop solutions to system related pain points.
  4. Development of custom applications and interfaces utilizing OpenText APIs.
  5. Analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware, operating systems, applications software.
  6. Provide second level customer system support for customer software/system applications.
  7. Provide guidance from a design and architecture perspective related to functional and system requirements.
