Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Systems Administrator to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. as an Enterprise Server Infrastructure Specialist. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering our enterprise server environment, including cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, document, administer, and troubleshoot the enterprise server environment, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Server and Storage Planning: Help prepare plans for development and installation of server and storage according to present and future requirements, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical design, implementation, and administration of the Microsoft on-premise Server environment and Azure cloud environment, as well as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments.
  • Disaster Recovery: Manage and maintain server disaster recovery, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing, to ensure business continuity.
  • Server Administration: Manage and maintain the configuration, administration, upgrade, and maintenance of operational technology servers and related infrastructure, ensuring systems integrity and availability.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interact with our user base (corporate and field employees) on an as-needed basis regarding technology issues and escalations, and work with the Enterprise and Solution Architecture team to establish scalable server and storage solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven Proficiency: Proven proficiency in Microsoft on-premise server design, implementation, and administration, as well as Microsoft Cloud (0365, Azure) design, implementation, and administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in VMware vSphere design, implementation, and administration, as well as Hyper-V architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Security and Compliance: Proven proficiency with server, storage, and cloud storage security best practices, as well as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Design, Implementation, and Administration.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in influencing and establishing collaboration direction within an organization, and understanding of enterprise-level on-premise server and cloud architecture.
