Client Profile

Our client, a reputable Toronto firm is currently looking for an Accountant. This firm has an excellent culture and many career development opportunities.

  • Office conveniently located in Downtown Toronto

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the full cycle accounting of the management company;

- Perform backup duties for the firm;

- Perform billing duties;

- Execute trust, cost sharing;

- Daily posting of accounts payable in PC Law;

- Prepare cheques and EFT payments;

- Certify cheques when required;

- Maintain database for accounting records;

- Post client receipts;

- Handle monthly bank reconciliations for general accounts;

- Prepare pre-bills and final client accounts; and

- Additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

- 1+ years of accounting experience in a law firm;

- Must have law firm experience;

- Accounting-related diploma or degree;

- Demonstrative experience of Month end and AP;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and Soluno;

- Knowledge of PC Law will be considered an asset;

- Simply accounting will be considered an asset;

- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills; and

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
