Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Java Full stack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto/Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working on Java, J2EE Technologies & CI-CD Full Stack
- Experience in working on Enterprise Risk domain
- Experience and in-depth knowledge in Solution Design, Development and Deployment of Java 11/8, Spring boot, Hibernate
- Knowledge and Experience in AWS Cloud services
- Experience in migrating Java stack applications On-prem to Cloud.
- Experience in Cloud DevOps and setting up and testing HA/DR/Infra on Cloud.
- Experience in API gateways, APIJEE.
- Working experience of Messaging integration with Kafka, Service bus/Event Hub/Grid
- Working experience in APIs, RESTFUL services.
- Experience in Git, Nexus and their integration with Cloud platform.
- Experience in Web servers, App servers.
- Knowledge of design principles
- Capable of analyzing Business requirements and building Functional and Technical requirements.
- In-depth exposure to Scrum Ceremonies.
- Experience in working in Agile Scrum teams, as SPOC for clients, and coordination with remote teams globally.
- Good analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Strong Communication Skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $89,004 to $115,491
