Position Summary: Senior Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM)

We seek a strategic and customer-centric Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product marketing strategy and driving the success of our Accounts Payable (AP) product.

Responsibilities

Customer Insights, Product launches & Go-to-Market (GTM):

  1. Maintain a deep comprehension of AP target customer characteristics, needs, and pain points through regular customer, prospect, partner, analyst, sales interactions and industry research.
  2. Collaborate closely with the product management team to gain a deep understanding of the AP product roadmap and act as the voice of the customer.
  3. Develop and execute strategic GTM plans that leverage data insights to drive results, including product launches, market research, content creation, customer profiling, and sales enablement.
  4. Work collaboratively with product management and marketing teams to set, monitor, and achieve business and marketing objectives.
  5. Analyze product usage trends to inform product development, pricing strategies, content creation, and sales collateral to accelerate the sales pipeline.

Messaging and Positioning

  1. Utilize your in-depth understanding of our AP Buyer Persona's needs and competitive landscape to create a compelling narrative for our products and services.
  2. Craft persuasive positioning and messaging frameworks that effectively communicate our unique value propositions and differentiate our offerings in the market.
  3. Partner with Tipalti Marketing to determine optimal routes to market and leverage data for marketing optimization.

Sales Enablement

  1. Become the subject matter expert for our AP product, developing and delivering sales enablement resources (e.g., sales decks, product overviews, demo videos, case studies) and training for GTM stakeholders. Assist sales and partners in closing major deals.
  2. Work closely with marketing teams to ensure the success of top-of-funnel initiatives, including demand generation, content marketing, events, webinars, and PR efforts.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a product marketing role for B2B SaaS solutions in finance, fintech, or payments.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present at webinars, conferences, and industry events.
  4. Deep customer empathy to influence product and marketing efforts.
  5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate technical capabilities into concise buyer-facing language.
  6. Critical thinking skills and a curious mindset for business and market analysis.
  7. Self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment; experimentation mindset to keep learning and iterating.
  8. Demonstrated track record in creating and executing GTM strategies and deliverables such as positioning/messaging, pitch decks, sales playbooks, thought leadership content, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
  9. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive product & feature launches.
  10. Experience with other marketing disciplines (content, field marketing, demand generation, partner marketing) is a plus.
