Job description:

As Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, supervising technical projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. You will work closely with production, maintenance and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety within the plant.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process Improvement:
    Analyze current production processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Project Management:
    Plan, direct and coordinate engineering and production equipment improvement projects.
  3. Equipment Supervision:
    Implement a preventive and corrective maintenance structure for production equipment to minimize downtime.
  4. Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  5. Data Analysis:
    Use tools and software to collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    Work in collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance departments to solve technical problems and improve overall performance.
  7. Training and Support:
    Provide technical training and support to operators and maintenance personnel.
  8. Innovation:
    Research and implement new technologies and methods to improve production processes.
Skills and qualifications:
  1. Degree:
    University degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
  2. Experience:
    Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in production engineering or project management in an industrial environment.
  3. Technical Skills:
    Solid knowledge of production systems, maintenance techniques, and data analysis tools.
  4. Communication Skills:
    Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  5. Problem Solving:
    Demonstrated ability to identify problems, propose creative solutions, and implement corrective actions.
