Role Overview:

As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and supporting our healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include managing patient interactions, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our busy clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver outstanding reception and patient service.
  2. Answer phones and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
  3. Prepare and manage patient rooms, including taking vital signs, conducting tests, and maintaining cleanliness.
  4. Schedule and manage patient appointments, including handling no-shows and cancellations.
  5. Maintain patient records, file documents, and manage insurance billing (extended health insurers, ICBC, WCB, MSP).
  6. Process payments and prepare invoices.
  7. Communicate effectively with physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
