About the Role
 The Vancouver office is seeking a Filing Clerk to join their team The Filing Clerk holds a vital position in the firm, responsible for the meticulous upkeep of records and ensuring swift access to essential documents.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain both physical and digital filing systems following established protocols.
  • Efficiently sort, categorize, and file documents with precision within our electronic database.
  • Conduct routine evaluations of filing systems to uphold accuracy and ensure compliance with firm policies, effecting necessary adjustments as required.
  • Execute file closures in accordance with relevant regulatory guidelines, returning closed files to clients in adherence to established procedures.
  • Undertake ad hoc office administrative tasks and provide coverage for vacation or leave periods as needed.
  • Fulfill other duties appropriate to the position as assigned.
  • Support the Legal Assistant team in initiating new files.
  • Assist in basic document creation, including drafting templates for letters, memos, or agendas, in collaboration with the Legal Assistant team.
What You Bring
  • Possession of a legal administrative, administrative/business certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and keyboarding accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Capability to independently organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
