Job Title: Sales Director

Clover is taking over From payments to point of sale software, Clover is the SMB platform that does it all. Our growth has become unparalleled, and we are further expanding our team and in search of a dynamic Sales Director who can help us own and grow the Eastern Region. This position is responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, as well as some of our key partnerships.

What does a great Sales Director do?

You will be responsible for all things business development, a player and coach who manages a sales team of 15 people. You will oversee their individual sales performance, own the relationship and the revenue associated with our key regional referral partners, as well as contribute individually by sourcing and securing key new merchant accounts and new partnerships. You will both contribute to and oversee the entire pipeline of business, negotiate terms and move the various opportunities throughout the sales cycle and close the sale.

What you will do:

  • Develop, own, and grow partner relationships, both existing and prospective
  • Design, implement, and manage sales and marketing plans
  • Assign territories and sales targets to sales staff and ensure sales goals are met
  • Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor sales staff while assessing sales performance and executing action plans to improve performance
  • Present, train, and educate FI partners at a senior level
  • Sourcing and selling to high value commercial mid-market sales and partner opportunities
What you need to have:
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven relationship management experience
  • Merchant Services, Point-of-Sale or Software sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 60%+ across Quebec
  • Post-Secondary Education
