An overview of your future role at BBA- Provide technical support to the firm's clients.
- Carry out programming and simulation verification for protective relay settings.
- Perform pre-operational verifications and commissioning of new electrical substations.
- Troubleshoot various electrical devices (mainly control and protection).
- Draft verification, anomaly and follow-up reports.
- Ensure client satisfaction.
- Comply with safety requirements and regulations.
- Draft plans and specifications and various technical reports (studies, letters, memos, etc.) and help prepare them.
- Monitor and manage projects.
- Supervise new recruits in terms of testing, maintenance, etc.
- Support electrical equipment commissioning teams.
- Results-driven

- Ability to see beyond established standards
- Rigour and ethical
- Diploma of college studies (DCS) in electrical engineering techniques, industrial electronics, electrodynamics, bachelor’s degree or other equivalent studies
- From 5 to 15 years relevant work experience
- Available to work on site and client premises 100% of the time
- Experience in writing calls for tender, proposals and technical specifications
- Strong knowledge of programming and testing protective relays
- Proficient with test equipment
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Bilingual essential, both written and spoken (English and French)
- Available to work anywhere in Canada
- Knowledge of electrical testing on power equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, etc.)
- Knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard
- Journeyman electrician certificate
