Digital Transformation Advisor for Boards of Professionals

Company Overview

Portage CyberTech has an immediate requirement for Sales professionals with deep knowledge of digital identity-related concepts, experience selling products from vendors in the space (for example: Okta, Onespan, DocuSign, Ping Identity, WSO2, Forgerock, IBM (Secure Verify product), Microsoft (Entra product)), Entrust, Adobe, Interac, SecureKey, Thales, and RSA), and a history of promoting technology to the North American public sector.

What you’ll do:

The Digital Transformation Advisor plays a crucial role in managing relationships with the US and Canadian boards of professionals (Ordres et Associations professionnelles) and strategic partners of Portage Cybertech. Opening new markets and maintaining existing relationships help achieve the sales team’s goals. The advisor also gathers strategic information to support the evolution of products and solutions and actively establishes new partnerships. Additionally, they promote Portage Cybertech document reliability by giving conferences at targeted events, thereby increasing the company’s visibility.

This position is an individual contributor who reports to the VP of sales.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Identification and Qualification of Partners:

  • Analyze and Target Partnership Opportunities: Identify and evaluate potential partners based on the need for digitally signed documents, data integrity, and source confirmation.
  • Market and Trend Analysis: Analyze the alignment of strategic partners with our natural or desired markets to identify growth opportunities.

Development and Management of Partnerships:

  • Lifecycle Management of Partnerships: Oversee all phases, from initial prospecting to signing and implementing agreements, ensuring smooth communication and efficient relationship management.
  • Promotion of Portage Cybertech Solutions: Actively promote digital signature solutions to professional associations, highlighting their benefits for professional practices.
  • Presentation and Negotiation of Offers: Prepare and present Portage Cybertech service offers, emphasizing each partner's specific benefits, and negotiate partnership terms.
  • Development of New Markets: Collaborate with strategic partners to penetrate new markets and accelerate sales by implementing innovative and tailored strategies.
  • Strategic Account Management: Manage strategic development files, ensuring regular follow-up and achieving optimal partner satisfaction.
  • Technological and Legal Monitoring: Continuously monitor technological and legal developments related to electronic signatures and document reliability, adapting strategies accordingly.

Training and Events:

  • Development of Training Programs: Design and develop mandatory continuing education offerings for targeted boards of professionals and, if necessary, participate in their teaching.
  • Participation in Key Events: Represent Portage Cybertech at conferences and targeted events to promote document reliability and the company’s solutions, enhancing Portage Cybertech's visibility.
  • Organization of Internal and External Events: Plan and coordinate internal and external events to foster partner engagement and promote new service offerings.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align partnership strategies with the company’s objectives.
  • Reporting and Follow-Up: Use the HubSpot CRM to manage prospecting activities, deployment, and opportunity tracking and provide regular reports on partnership performance.

What You Bring:

Basic:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 10 years' experience
  • Excellent communicator, fully bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • 5+ years of Experience in account management or BD role, preferably within a SaaS model
  • Energetic and creative, demonstrating the ability to be proactive and patient in a fast-paced environment with varying sales cycles.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and client business processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to anticipate change and prioritize accordingly
  • Ability to work as a team, as well as independently
  • Strong digital literacy (CRM, Office suite, etc)

Preferred:

  • Services/Consulting delivery experiences a big plus
  • Ability to manage a large volume of concurrent client relationships
  • Ability to identify, critique, suggest, and implement intelligent changes to the client's business processes
  • Proficiency in managing relationships with various levels of government (municipal, provincial, federal).
  • Expertise in industries predominantly composed of professionals (e.g., engineers, lawyers, brokers).
