What does a typical day look like?

  1. Use your clinical skills to ensure clients receive the highest level of care.
  2. Monitor client conditions to ensure stability throughout the shift.
  3. Administer medications and feeds to clients at meal times.
  4. Monitor pediatric clients in school environments, with clients ranging in needs.
  5. Complete charting as required.
  6. Complete other tasks as requested.

What Qualifications are Required?

  1. Current Registered Nurse, with current and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  2. 1 year of experience in either home care nursing, hospital, or long-term care. We are willing to train the right candidates, so even if you feel like you don’t meet all requirements, we would still love to hear from you
  3. Experience with G tube feeding and diabetic management considered an asset but not required.
  4. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
  5. Current CPR certification.
  6. TB test required upon hire.
  7. Successful and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
