As the Manager, Quality and Compliance for our printing plants across Canada, you will be responsible for ensuring product excellence throughout the manufacturing process. You will lead a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. As the guardian of the company's quality system, you will work closely with the production, engineering, and management teams to maintain and enhance quality standards and resolve quality problems.

A Summary Of Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and evolution of the quality system in all Canadian factories.
  • Manage the operations of the quality team including:
  • Providing regular training, orientation, and assessment.
  • Assigning tasks to achieve specified quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer specifications.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints and ensure that prescribed deadlines are met.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring all non-conformities are identified and resolved effectively.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to continually improve procedures and processes to enhace efficiency and/or automation.

Requirements

Your profile

  • University degree in engineering, GOP, science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Fluent in both oral and written communication in French and English.
