Alpa Pre-Engineered Panel Systems Inc., a part of the Alpa Lumber Group, is a leading provider of pre-engineered walls and floors to GTA home builders. We work with a team of designers, engineers, and production staff to help create the communities we live in. We are currently looking for an IT Administrator to add to our team in our Courtice location.Job Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain computer systems;
  • Liaise with Head Office IT;
  • Update and troubleshoot plant computers;
  • Programming;
  • Implement new software;
  • Analyze current software to ensure maximum utilization and to ensure software is meeting company requirements;
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems;
  • Assist employees with IT support and troubleshooting;
  • Other IT duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of IT administration experience;
  • Manufacturing industry experience is an asset;
  • University or College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
  • Working knowledge of hardware is an asset;
  • Self-Starter with a positive attitude;
  • Able to work with minimal direction;
  • Able to travel between two locations (Bowmanville and Courtice) when required.
