Environment Health & Safety Administrator

Advance your career as an Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) Administrator. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day EH&S operations while providing essential administrative support. You will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, as well as assisting with special projects and support services.

What you'll do
  1. Develop and distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual corporate reports on the following areas: Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR), Business Unit Achievement, Training, Risk Committee and the Global Sustainability.
  2. Manage, coordinate and update document library and website for all approved managed EHS documentation. Conduct corporate environment, health and safety risk management activities, including risk assessment evaluations of facilities.
  3. Implement arrangements for disaster recovery and document recovery procedures.
  4. Monitor and coordinate access and user groups for Chemical Management systems and other software systems.
  5. Collect and verify data classifications and hours for monthly, quarterly and annual North American incident and injury reporting to global EH&S team.
  6. Assist in the development of training courses. Develop and provide EH&S presentations to internal Business Units on corporate EH&S system processes.
  7. Administer all aspects of the WCB Program in accordance with applicable provincial legislation. Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless case management for employees.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert for EH&S systems and assist users with their queries via training and/or troubleshooting.
What you bring to our team

Strong organizational, administrative, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills and abilities.

Knowledge and understanding of governmental regulations at the federal and provincial/state level.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.

At least three (3) years experience working in an EH&S functional area, including progressively responsible experience with EH&S systems and processes.
