Civil Engineering Co-op Student Position

Reporting to the Department Manager you will provide design assistance for the completion of engineering design assignments for private and public sector clients. You may also be in the field for various types of pre-engineering investigations and/or inspections, or surveying.

You will provide day-to-day design assistance in the completion of engineering assignments. Responsibilities include providing design services using AutoCAD, Civil 3D design software for private and public sector clients. You may also be in the field for various types of pre-engineering investigations and/or inspections, or surveying. The above would be completed under the direction and guidance of a Professional Engineer.

This job is well suited for a civil engineering student with a passion for engineering and a desire to learn. The completion of one (1) full work term using CAD or Civil 3D would be extremely beneficial.

You must be a highly motivated and an independent learner with a desire to be involved with all aspects of consulting engineering services from pre-design through detail design.
