Responsibilities:

The PCO isoften responsible for coordinating various aspects of a project, ensuring thatall team members are on the same page and that tasks are progressing asplanned.

Typicalactivities performed by a PCO are:

§ Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining and updating projectdocumentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and riskregisters. They may also be responsible for creating and distributing regularproject/program reports to stakeholders.

§ Risk Management: Identifying and assessing risks associated withthe project or program and helping to develop strategies for mitigating thoserisks.

§ Financial Management: Monitoring and tracking project or programbudgets, expenses, and financial performance. This may involve working withfinance and accounting teams.

§ Resource Management: Coordinating and managing project resources,including personnel, equipment, and materials.

§ Quality Assurance: Ensuring that project or program deliverablesmeet the specified quality standards and that quality control processes are inplace.

§ Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication amongproject stakeholders, including team members, sponsors, and other relevantparties. This may involve

organizing meetings and reporting progress.

§ Change Management: Assisting in the management of changes to theproject scope, schedule, or budget and ensuring that changes are properlydocumented and approved.

§ Issue Resolution: Identifying and addressing issues that may ariseduring the project or program, working with the project manager and team tofind solutions.

§ Compliance: Ensuring that the project or program complies withrelevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies.

§ Administrative Support: Providing general administrative supportto the project or program team, which may include organizing meetings, managingcalendars, and handling various logistical tasks.

§ Document Control: Managing project or program documentation,including version control, archiving, and ensuring that the most currentdocuments are available to the team.

§ Performance Measurement: Defining and tracking key performanceindicators (KPIs) to assess project or program progress and success.

§ Lessons Learned: Capturing and documenting lessons learned fromthe project or program to improve future endeavors.

We understandthe responsibilities of a PCO can vary depending on the organization, the sizeand complexity of the project or program, and the industry.

Desired Qualifications:

§ Proven experience in developing and updating project resources andplanning tools, such as project plans, scope, progress updates, resource plans,risk plans, and corresponding mitigation measures.

§ Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

§ Highly organized with excellent time management and taskprioritization abilities.

§ Leadership skills to empower and focus on the project team ondeployment goals.

§ Solid project management experience in a professional servicesenvironment.

§ Successfully deliver projects within the defined budget in thestatement of work.

Education andCertifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, businessadministration, or equivalent.
